Maureen Haggerty of the College’s Women’s Center Assumes Latest Leadership Role – Posted 11/21/14

Maureen Haggerty, career counselor with the Women’s Center at County College of Morris (CCM), has been elected president of the New Jersey Counseling Association (NJCA).
A resident of Madison, Haggerty previously served as a member at-large on the NJCA board.
The NJCA is the state branch of the American Counselling Association, which is the world’s largest association dedicated to the professional and educational development of counselors.
Haggerty joined the Women’s Center at CCM in 2010, where she is responsible for assisting clients with developing and implementing career strategies. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She also has worked as a counselor at New Jersey City University, Caldwell University and Sussex County Community College.
She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Jersey City University and also has studied at the University College Dublin, University of Maine, Kean University and Drew University.
