Art Association in Roxbury (AAR)

The Visual Arts Gallery at CCM welcomes a summer exhibit by the Art Association in Roxbury. The AAR Art Show and Sale at the County College of Morris will be up from May 27th to Aug 3rd. A Reception will be held on Wednesday, Jun 10th from 6 to 8 pm.

Judging the exhibit is Leah K. Tomaino who is an Adjunct Professor at CCM. Leah received her BFA from the Cooper Union in NYC and her MA from William Paterson University in NJ with a concentration in painting. Along with her role at CCM, Leah teaches at Artworks Studio in Randolph and the Children’s Museum in NYC. A grant recipient of the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, she has won many national awards and is a member of the National Association of Women Artists. She is represented by New Hope Sidetracks Art Gallery, New Hope, PA.

The Art Association in Roxbury was founded in 1965.

They are a non-profit organization that was formed to further the appreciation of and increase interest in the fine arts within their community. The group is located in Succasunna, NJ, and most of their members reside in Morris and Sussex Counties. Their membership includes artists of all levels of experience, from amateur to professional, as well as art patrons.
