National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Recognizes CCM Faculty – Posted 9/23/15

Two faculty members from County College of Morris (CCM) have been selected for the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award in recognition of the strength of their teaching and leadership skills.

Dr. Michael Paul, of Bridgewater, assistant chair of the CCM Health and Exercise Science department, and Cathleen McCormack, of Livingston, adjunct professor of nursing, have been chosen to receive NISOD awards this year.

Award recipients will be recognized during NISOD’s annual International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence, May 28-31, 2016, in Austin, Texas.

Several other CCM faulty members have been presented with the award in previous years including Professor John Williford, of Essex County; Professor Kathleen Prokop, of Florham Park; Professor Nancy Binowski, of Bridgewater; and Professor Brian Oleksak of Newton.

NISOD is dedicated to the professional development of faculty, administrators and staff and to the continued improvement of teaching and learning. More than 700 community colleges around the world are NISOD members. NISOD award recipients are selected based upon criteria established by each submitting college.
