The Millburn-Short Hills Art Center (M-SHAC) has selected the County College of Morris (CCM) Art Gallery to host its summer exhibition.

The exhibition runs through July 15 and a reception, free and open to the public, will take place Wednesday, June 15, from 6 – 8 p.m.

M-SHAC, the oldest art association in northern and central New Jersey, was formed in 1940 as a nonprofit organization with a simple purpose – to encourage art education and appreciation.

Most M-SHAC members are visual artists who share those goals. In addition to mounting their own exhibitions and demonstrations, the center’s members join together several times a year to show their work in such venues as the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn and the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown, as well as libraries, hospitals, community centers and corporate offices.

If you are interested in purchasing one of the artworks from this show, please contact Mike Dziomba at 973-518-0559.

The CCM Gallery is open the same hours as the college’s library.
