All the details on this fall’s programs can be found in the Fall Continuing Education brochure. Morris County residents should see a mailed copy arriving this week. Information sessions will be held on Thursday, September 1, at 6:30 p.m. There will be individual sessions for 11 different programs. See the Fall Continuing Education brochure for the location of each session and additional details. To register simply go to https:/webadvisor.ccm.edu, follow the prompts for continuing education registration and enter the five digit course code into the correct field.

For this fall, CCM has added significantly to its technology offerings including training in computer support and repair, CISCO certifications, filmmaking and more. This semester, the college will officially roll out enhanced PC training options through the Microsoft Imagine Academy. Both traditional classroom and hybrid courses will be offered in the MS Office Suite, the Adobe Creative Suite and much more.

Also, CCM is formally introducing its partnership with the AAPC for Certified Professional Coders. With this partnership, CCM Medical Billing and Coding graduates can qualify for and take the AAPC Certified Professional Coder exam at CCM upon completing the program.

CCM’s top-ranked Center for Business and Technology continues to offer grant supported and other training options in a host of Microsoft Office and other business skills. Customized training can be provided at your location or at CCM to meet any training need your company may have.

Effective September 1, 2017, the Alternate Route to Teaching process will be dramatically changing. Among other changes, the program will increase from 224 hours in 12-18 months to 400 hours over two years. This year is your last chance to get into the program under current rules. So please plan to attend this information session if you’re interested in becoming a New Jersey Certified K-12 teacher.

CCM’s Cooking School has new culinary offerings from new and returning chefs. The Hospitality and Culinary Department has come up with some exciting new recipes for the fall including baking holiday treats for pets. These enrichment programs are tailored for individuals who’ve developed or are developing a passion for cooking and seek classical training in a non-credit, adult environment.
