High-school-age photographers are invited to submit photos representing their definition of Turbulent Times. The state of turbulence is characterized by conflict, disorder or confusion. A photograph can exhibit formal disorder, organizing the elements of composition in an nontraditional way. It could also present violent weather, political conflict and personal confusion.

Winning photographs, honorable mentions and finalists will be featured in an exhibition also including work by CCM photography students. The exhibit will take place next May in CCM’s Art and Design Gallery. Winners are required to submit high-resolution files for the exhibition and may need to show proof of ID and authorship.

Contestants should join the “CCM Photo Club Competition” Facebook page (http://tinyurl.com/ludm5al) to receive news and announcements, and to vote for the photo that will receive the Popularity Award by obtaining the most likes. Voting for the Popularity Award begins at midnight on April 22, 2018. All winners will be announced at the opening of the exhibition in the CCM Art and Design Gallery.
Photos can be submitted now through midnight April 14, 2018. To enter online, go to https://www.flickr.com/groups/4051794@N25/.
