Randolph resident Barbara Capsouras and director, alumni relations, County College of Morris (CCM), has been named to the planning committee for the Center for Community College Advancement’s international conference run by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The Conference for Community College Advancement will be held from October 3-5, in Palm Springs, CA.
The CASE Center for Community College Advancement provides training and resources to help community colleges build and sustain effective fundraising, alumni relations, communications, development and marketing programs. The conference fosters an environment to network and build upon professional relationships, exchange ideas through research and implementation with the focus on higher education.
“It is an honor to represent CCM among my peers and to provide input as the planning team develops an enriching experience for attendees,” said Capsouras.
The Conference for Community College Advancement is currently seeking Session Proposals to showcase best practices, identify emerging trends and inspire new ways of advancing community colleges.
“Barbara’s leadership and expertise in alumni relations will benefit both the conference attendees and our CCM community, including our alumni, current students, donors, corporate sponsors and community leaders,” remarked Katie A. Olsen, executive director of the CCM Foundation. “We are very proud that Barbara will be providing leadership that advances community colleges both nationally and internationally.”
