Exhibition Runs March 5 through April 1
Fine Arts students at County College of Morris (CCM) once again are being given the opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the Art Upstairs gallery located in the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) in Morristown.
The exhibition, featuring approximately 40 pieces of student artwork, is being curated by Todd Doney, CCM professor of Fine Arts. The exhibit runs from March 5 – April 1. A reception will be held March 21, 5 – 7 p.m.
This is the fifth consecutive year that MPAC is offering CCM Fine Arts students this exhibition space. The exhibition opportunity first came about in 2014 through a collaboration between Charles Miller, the manager of Art Upstairs, and Doney.
“Besides the fantastic opportunity of having their work being seen by a large audience, the Art Upstairs gallery offers students the chance to sell their work at the exhibit if they desire,” notes Doney. “This added benefit offers students a real-world experience in the gallery business.”
