Astronomagic for Muggles

Fun-Filled Halloween Family Activities for Friday, October 26

County College of Morris (CCM) is hosting a free ‘spook-tacular’ Halloween Happenings event this Friday, October 26, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Student Community Center lobby. Families are welcome to enjoy indoor trick-or-treating, listen to silly and spooky tales told by professional storytellers and design a whimsical holiday craft and special 50th Anniversary Titan Mask.  This is a great event for little goblins and their families and appropriate for grammar school children.   Halloween Happenings is co-sponsored by CCM Campus Life and Special Events.

In the evening the CCM Longo Planetarium will present Astronomagic for Muggles, the Skies of Harry Potter, at 7 p.m. The Harry Potter universe is loaded with references to the night sky. Sirius, Draco, even Hermione are named for amazing objects scattered throughout the galaxy and beyond. Aspiring wizards should come to this program about all things astronomical over Hogwarts. Wands and wizards are welcome to attend. Tickets are $10. To reserve a ticket, go to: https://bookstore.ccm.edu/astronomagic-muggles-general-admission.

CCM is located at 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph, NJ.  Attendees for both events are welcome to park in Lot 6.
