Spring is here, and it is the perfect time to reserve tickets for County College of Morris’ (CCM) spring musical, The Secret Garden, at the Dragonetti Auditorium.

Based on the 1911 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this Tony nominated musical centers around Mary Lennox, a young English girl born and raised in the British Raj. When she is ten years old, Lennox is orphaned by a cholera outbreak and is sent away to Yorkshire, England to live with relatives whom she has never met. It is there that her personality blossoms as she and a young gardener bring new life to a neglected garden, as well as to her sickly cousin and uncle.

This special production of The Secret Garden will showcase the professional talents of two CCM alumni, Kelly Miller and Christopher Bosch. Miller studied music performance at CCM, and later went on to earn her master’s degree in voice performance/opera from the Mason Gross School of Arts at Rutgers University. Bosch, a teacher and theater director in Mount Olive, is recapturing the lead role of Archibald Craven—a character whom he portrayed almost 20 years ago.

CCM’s The Secret Garden runs from Wednesday April 3 through Saturday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. along with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for CCM students, alumni, children under 12 and seniors 62 and over. CCM is located at 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph, NJ. Patrons are asked to park in Lot 6.
