About Our Program

The mission of the Study Abroad Program is to provide students with access to a global education. CCM offers students study abroad opportunities in 25 countries through the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS): Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Namibia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Peru, Russia, Scotland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Vietnam.

The basic requirements for study abroad are at least 15 credits of completed course work and a minimum GPA of 2.5. However, some programs have more competitive requirements. Study abroad is not restricted to certain majors. Students from almost any major can study abroad while earning credit toward graduation.

Students are required to meet with the study abroad advisor in advance of their planned semester abroad, allowing for support in completing the application process. Students will collaborate with advisors to choose classes, arrange for proper transfer of credit, and apply for required visas.
