This program is designed for transfer to a four-year program leading to certification for teaching, which requires an academic major (Sociology) and professional education courses. Students will be advised by both the teacher education coordinator and by a faculty advisor from the Sociology, Economics and Anthropology department.

CCM has 11 different Teacher Education Specialization that will start you on your career as a teacher in grades K-12.

They are Biology, Business, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, Physical Education/Health Education, Social Studies/History, Social Studies/Psychology, Social Studies/Sociology, Spanish, and Visual Arts.
