Associate in Fine Art Degree
The Associate in Fine Arts degree focuses on developing an understanding of the specific arts disciplines of dance, drama or visual arts through the intensive study of technique, history, theory and hands-on approaches in studio work and/or performance. The Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degree is designed to provide students with the competencies necessary to achieve seamless articulation into a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) program. The program will focus on intensive technical training and artistic development, with emphasis on one of three major areas of concentration: dance, drama, or visual arts.
