STUDENT SERVICES

AdmissionsAdmissions Office

Applying to college can be challenging. Luckily, the Admissions office at CCM makes the process easy for new and returning students, guiding you through the process step by step.

  • Location: Student Community Center, Second Floor
  • Open Mondays and Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 

Bursar

The Bursar’s office assists students with tuition bills, fees, payments and refunds.

  • Open Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Campus Store

The Campus Store carries textbooks for every course in session. Also found there are CCM apparel and school supplies, including everything from notebooks, to pens, to sticky notes. If you can’t get to the Campus Store, you can order a wide selection of items online at https://bookstore.ccm.edu/.

Continuing Professional Education

For individuals who are not degree seeking but need to update skills or earn industry valued credentials, the Center for Workforce Development offers continuing professional education at hours convenient for the working professional

  • Open Mondays and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Counseling Services and Student Success

The Counseling Services and Student Success office strives to maximize student’s individual growth and development through counseling and other support services. Services provided by the office are completely free and confidential.

  • Open Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Faculty Office Hours

Want to meet with a faculty member to discuss a class you are taking or to plot out your course of studies so you can finish as soon as possible? You can find a listing of faculty office hours by looking up your professor in the college’s directory at www3a.ccm.edu/directory/directory.aspx/. Or if you prefer, you can call the academic department to inquire if your professor has evening hours. You can find the contact information for each academic department at www.ccm.edu/academics/divdep/.

Financial Aid

The Financial Aid office is committed to helping students meet their educational expenses through federal, state and institutional grants, scholarships and student loan programs.

  • Open Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Records and Registration

The Records and Registration office handles everything from helping students add or drop classes, to finalizing graduation paperwork, to processing transcript requests. Here is where you can learn more about registering for classes, Titans Direct, grading polices and more.

Testing Center

Before registering for classes, many students need to schedule a placement test at the Testing Center to determine what classes they should take first. The Testing Center is also where you can take the exam for Microsoft Office Specialist Certification.

GRAB SOMETHING TO EAT

Students in CafeLearning Resource Center Café

Enjoy Starbucks coffee, “grab and go” sandwiches, cookies and more in a setting with a great view of the campus or take your order to go.

  • Open Mondays through Thursdays 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Fridays 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 

Student Community Center Vending Area

The vending area features fresh pasta dishes, salads and sandwiches, as well as microwaveable meals, snacks and beverages. Sundries such as Tylenol are also available in the machines.

  • Location: Student Community Center, Second Floor
  • Open whenever the college is open

Cohen Café

The Cohen Cafe features two “create your own” stations consisting of burgers and chicken sandwiches, and salads and wraps. Also provided are “grab and go” items such as pre-made sandwiches and salads, along with soups, beverages, desserts and snacks.

  • Open Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. – 2p.m.

WHERE TO STUDY, CONDUCT RESEARCH AND GAIN ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE

LibraryLearning Resource Center Exterior

The library is a great resource for students looking for reading material, access to a computer or a quiet place to study. Bring your CCM ID to the information desk and obtain a barcode to borrow books, CDs and DVD.

  • Location: Learning Resource Center, Second Floor
  • Open Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m., Fridays 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 

Tutoring Center

Struggling in a class? Visit the Tutoring Center for free in-person one-on-one or group tutoring on a variety of subjects. Appointments can be made online or at the center itself.

  • Location: Academic Complex, DeMare Hall, Room 156
  • Open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Fridays 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
