Dr. Teresa Fiore is full professor of Italian and the Inserra Endowed Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies at Montclair State University. She is the author of Pre-Occupied Spaces: Remapping Italy’s Transnational Migrations and Colonial Legacies. She is currently working on a research project about food practices at the time of the Allied Landing in Sicily during WWII, and an initiative linked to teaching Italian language and culture to Spanish speakers.
