400 years ago, a simple telescope made from two pieces of glass revealed for the first time an infinite and perplexing universe to our eyes and imaginations. During this planetarium show, we follow two young students to an astronomy event and learn how the telescope has helped us understand our place in space. Together they explore the history of the telescope, from Galileo’s simple spyglass to the powerful space telescopes we use today to explore the mysteries of the Universe.
This 35-minute show is recommended for kids ages 6 and up and includes a brief tour of the night sky and planets.
Tickets are $10 per person. Online reservations are strongly encouraged; limited tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
