Quarantined in Italy
How the coronavirus has disrupted the life of a CCM graduate
In summer 2019, a CCM graduate headed back home to Milan, Italy. Her multi-year journey in the U.S. had come to an end. Now, that CCM graduate finds herself facing life under quarantine in northern Italy. Join the CCE initiative for a Skype session with this CCM alumna, who will be calling the college from the Lombardy region, which this week went under full quarantine by the Italian government. She will talk about media coverage of the coronavirus in Italy, what restrictions are in place, and how life — from seeing movies to working at an office — has been impacted. There will be two sessions. Feel free to drop in with your students for all or part of the time. Please RSVP to cce@ccm.edu as space is limited.
