Sexual Assault Awareness Presentation – April 8th

A guest speaker from the Atlantic Health Sexual Assault Center, (formerly known as Morris Cares) a Morris County organization that educates and supports sexual assault survivors, will speak about common myths and information surrounding sexual assault.

April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The purpose of SAAM is to raise awareness and encourage conversation about sexual violence, to educate the community on prevention, to create a stronger culture of consent, and to provide resources that support survivors. Throughout the month of April at County College of Morris, the office of Counseling & Student Success will be hosting events and disseminating information.
As always, the office of Counseling and Student Success is available to speak with students, provide resources, consult with faculty and staff, and provide overall support. The Counseling office is operating virtually from Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m, and counselors can be reached by calling 973-328-5140, or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
