Fall tutoring begins on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Monday – Thursday are in-person faculty and peer tutoring and Friday are virtual only. 

FOR VIRTUAL – On the day/time of your session, you will receive via your CCM email a WebEx/Zoom invite to join your tutor (BE LOGGED IN ON TIME).  In addition to our tutoring services, the Center offers the 24/7 Brainfuse online tutoring portal, which is available via Blackboard in over 150 subjects.

Quick Tips Workshops – Fall 2023 –

To attend these sessions, students will need to sign up on the TutorTrac scheduling system at https://tutortrac.ccm.edu; use your CCM student credentials to sign in. Upon signing in, select “Search Availability” under Student Options on the left-hand side of the screen. Next, select “Writing Center” and then select the course and date range. You can sign up to 6 days in advance. Make your appointment no later than 24 hours before the day of the session.

The Writing Center is located on the first floor of DeMare Hall, DH 156 inside the Tutoring Center.  Tutoring is conducted by faculty tutors only.  Services include one-on-one tutoring appointments, walk-ins, and workshops. Tutors identify writing problems, provide instruction in theory, and offer practice for written improvement in any subject/course. Tutors can offer pre-paper and post-paper consultations.  All Writing Skills students are strongly encouraged to attend tutorial sessions as part of their developmental course requirements. Sessions are in 20-minute increments.
