Employees eligible for health coverage who are covered by another health plan* are eligible to waive their health coverage at CCM. Those who elect to waive coverage will receive quarterly, taxable, cash stipends according to the level of coverage they waive. Coverage begins the first of the month following a 60 day waiting period from the date of hire. *Employees are not eligible for the waiver incentive if the other coverage is with the SHBP or SEHBP. Proof of the other coverage is required.


The annual stipend amounts have recently been revised in response to mandates from the state.

Stipends are prorated and paid out at the end of each quarterly period elected.
