Dr. Alikhani earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in English Education from Teachers College of Columbia University, and has several masters’ degrees in English Education, Creative Writing and English Literature from Teachers College, City College of CUNY and Azad University (Tehran, Iran). She has extensive collegiate teaching experience and additionally has significant research and has published widely.
