Following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario Canada in 1982, Dr. Andrew attended Rutgers University in Newark, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1985. Dr. Andrew began working at St. Mary’s Hospital in Orange, New Jersey and discovered a passion for critical care, which led her to accept a position at Hackensack Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit. After marrying in 1989, Dr. Andrew continued her career in the Cardiac Care Unit at Morristown Medical Center, where she worked the night shift for over 20 years. Dr. Andrew earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2011 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University in 2013. Dr. Andrew began teaching at CCM in 2011 as an Adjunct and then accepted a full-time position as faculty in Basic Medical-Surgical Nursing.

After a short leave, Dr. Andrew retuned to CCM as an Adjunct, teaching Medical Terminology, and in 2019 accepted the position of Assistant Professor of Nursing at CCM and Chairperson of the Nursing Department.
