Hired: August 2012 Professor Schicho has over 25 years of nursing experience. She earned her MSN from William Paterson University and her BSN from Fairleigh Dickinson’s Accelerated Program. She also holds a BA in Chemistry from WVU. She has been a full-time member of the CCM Nursing faculty since the Fall of 2012. Prior to teaching at CCM, she was an Adjunct Nursing Instructor at Sussex County Community College. She is a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse with a certification in Adult Health. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she practices in the community performing housecalls to the elderly homebound population, serving as their primary healthcare provider. Like many of her colleagues, she has practiced in a wide variety of settings. But her heart is in homecare. Professor Schicho is passionate about being a nurse. She believes that the profession of Nursing is a calling, and feels a great responsibility in being a positive role model and mentor to her nursing students.
