CCM is pleased to announce that Patrick Enright, Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, Workforce Development and Student Success, has been recognized as a 2025 S.H.I.N.E. (Serves, Helps, Inspires, Nurtures, and Excels) Educator of the Year Award recipient by Child & Family Resources. Enright received the award in the higher education category at the annual S.H.I.N.E. Gala on the evening of Thursday, March 13, held at The Mansion in Mountain Lakes.
At this year’s Gala, Enright was one of four professionals honored as Educator of the Year. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge educators who exemplify the spirit of Child & Family Resources’ mission and values, and whose professional practice and advocacy for the profession are deemed exemplary. Established in 1972, the mission of Child & Family Resources is to support the development of children, by delivering high quality, responsive, and dynamic professional development to enhance the lifelong learning of families, childcare professionals and the community.

Iacono, president of CCM. “Patrick’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, workforce development and the success of our students has a profound impact on our institution. His leadership and dedication inspire those around him every day, and this recognition is a testament to his extraordinary contributions. We are incredibly fortunate to have Patrick as a leader at CCM, and we celebrate this well-deserved honor with him.”
Enright has 38 years of experience working in higher education. He has been in his current role at CCM since 2021. He has held other positions at the college including Vice President for Professional Studies and Applied Sciences, Associate Vice President for Workforce Development and Dean of the School of Business, Mathematics, Engineering and Technologies.

Before joining CCM, Enright served as Dean of the Mathematics and Technology Division at Pikes Peak Community College and as Dean of the Health, Math, Science and Engineering Division at Arapahoe Community College, both in Colorado. He began his career in higher education as a faculty member at Arapaho teaching mathematics. Enright earned a M.A. degree from the University of Colorado Denver and a B.A. from Columbia College, Columbia University.
