Over a Dozen Opportunities Culminating with Gala to Inspire, Motivate and Celebrate
As Black History Month unfolds, County College of Morris (CCM) is proud to announce a series of engaging and enlightening events for the campus community with a grand finale that promises to be an unforgettable evening.
Join us for an unforgettable “Night at the Apollo,” an evening of inspiring music, captivating dance and artistic brilliance celebrating the richness of Black culture, on Thursday, February 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Dragonetti Auditorium. Immediately following is the Grand Finale Gala with an opportunity for reflection and recognition of the rich Black heritage.

Reggie Wright, who has taken adversity to empower and motivate others, gives his storytelling presentation, “Allergic to Average” on Thursday, February 8 at 12:30 p.m. in Davidson Room A, Student Community Center.
Franca Roibal uncovers the Afrolatin roots of the tango, an iconic partner dance, on Tuesday, February 20 at 12:30 p.m. in Cohen Hall 100.
- Motivational Meetings —
Morris County Black professionals working in law, business, education and healthcare share their personal “Journeys to Success” on Thursday, February 22 at 12:30 p.m. in Davidson Room C, Student Community Center.
Enjoy the art of poetry as narratives are expressed at “The Spoken Word Hour” on Monday, February 26, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Sherman H. Masten Learning Resource Center, Room 121.
- Displays and Exhibits —
Immerse yourself on campus and see the campus-wide poster presentation, African heritage flag display, Black scientist showcase and Black author book display starting February 1.
