Learn How to Stay Safe in an Increasingly Digital World
The Department of Information Technologies at County College of Morris (CCM) will host its first-ever Cybersecurity Night on Wednesday, October 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is open to the community and will promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices to stay safe in an increasingly digital world.
Cybersecurity Night will feature various sessions throughout the evening targeted to students, professionals and the community. Attendees will be presented with a wealth of information on cybersecurity and can take part in a panel discussion with cybersecurity industry professionals as well as a student-run helpdesk.

CCM has been a local and national leader in Information Security education for over two decades. In 2017, the college became designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education (CAE2Y) and is the first community college in New Jersey to receive this designation. CCM’s Center for Cybersecurity was established to further the mission of educating our future cyber security professionals, increasing awareness for students in other disciplines and in preparing our greater community to be better cyber citizens.

The event will be held on the CCM campus in the Sherman H. Masten Learning Resource Center (LRC). CCM is located at 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph. Visitors can park in Lot 7.
