Here’s the Summer 2016 FYI Orientation schedule:

When & Where



9:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.

Follow the signs and park in lot #7 or 6,  or park in any other available student parking lot: #’s 1, 2, 3, 4, and 9. Do NOT park in lot #5, lot #8 or lot #10, as these are faculty/staff lots and you will be ticketed if you park there.

Arrive on campus

 Park in any available student parking lot – (Click HERE for directions to CCM) –  follow the yellow directional signs to the FYI Check-In: look for members of the Orientation Staff – wearing pink polo shirts –  for assistance.

9:05 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

Student Community Center’s Dragonetti Auditorium Lobby


You should plan to arrive by 9:15 a.m. for check-in; there’s no need to come earlier than this time.

9:30 p.m. – 9:40 a.m.

The President of CCM and the Vice President of Student Development & Enrollment Management will welcome you and introduce the program.

Panel Discussion

A student panel of returning and former students will give you their insights about being a CCM student. Learn more about student support offices, tutoring, student clubs, athletics, buying books, parking, campus food, safety on campus, professors, CCM policies and more! You will have an opportunity to get answers to your specific questions too!

10:10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Throughout Campus – rain or shine, so please dress accordingly

(please bring an umbrella / rain gear if it is raining!)

Departmental Information Presentations

An informative guided tour of the campus focusing on helping you find your way around campus, locating where your classes will be held, and acquainting you with various CCM departments and services that will be especially helpful to you during your first few weeks as a new CCM student.

Your chance to interact with CCM student leaders, faculty/staff members and your fellow new students over a free lunch.
