The Women’s Center offers free job readiness workshops every month. Check back often to see current topics and to register.
Family Law Legal Clinic & Divorce Workshops
The Family Law Legal Clinic provides a free 30-minute private consultation with a volunteer family law attorney. A consultation can help you navigate the legal system and understand the options available to you, as it pertains to family law. This free Divorce Workshop Series is designed to educate individuals on the various components, elements, and aspects of the divorce process. Topics include the divorce process, choosing a lawyer, enforcement of child support, tips on completing legal forms, mediation, alimony, post-judgement relief and financial aspects of divorce. Each two-hour session is dedicated to a specific topic.

- Volunteer Lawyers for Justice – are attorneys who provide representation to indigent parents and caretakers of children throughout NJ. Callers must meet income eligibility requirements to obtain assistance. www.vljnj.org
- The Children’s Legal Resource Center offers information, assistance, training, and legal publications regarding the rights of children. The Center provides general information regarding existing laws, and assists individuals in understanding and accessing legal processes affecting children and their care. www.kidlaw.org
