The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a musical based on the 1831 novel of the same name written by Victor Hugo with songs from the 1996 Walt Disney Animation Studios film adaptation. It is a tale of love and acceptance that asks the question, “What makes a monster and what makes a man?” Told through the ringing of the bells at Notre Dame Cathedral, this gothic adaptation reminds us that true beauty lies within.
