Titan Weekend – a Community Celebration for CCM’s 50th Anniversary
To celebrate its 50th Anniversary, County College of Morris held a Titan Weekend May 3 to May 5, which started with a Titan Ball on Friday, followed by Titus the Titan’s birthday on Saturday and then the Titan Trot 5K on Sunday. Trustees, faculty, staff and friends of the campus dined, danced and caught up with another at the Titan Ball. Community members then turned out in good numbers, enjoying free fun-family activities, along with CCM staff and their families, at the Titus’ birthday party. And while rain drenched the area on Sunday, the Titan Trot 5K still drew numerous runners and walkers, also including CCM faculty and staff and their children. The winner of that race was Richard Williams, son of Pam Williams, who works in the CCM Foundation.
