The class features comprehensive preparation for certification including exercises and practice exams.
Prerequisite: Project Management Essentials, or substantial prior project management experience with a solid understanding of the principles of Project Management.
This class meets the educational requirement for taking the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification exams offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The course provides a robust foundation for the studentâ€™s preparation in becoming eligible to take these two certification exams. The class will be conducted online. Each student is given access to a copy of MS Project 2016 for their computer. It is a hands-on class with all students working with MS Project. You will be given a link to enter the classroom with the instructor and your classmates. The class will be conducted interactively with a view of the instructor’s screen to follow.
With this hands-on course, gain the knowledge to be able to:
- Develop a plan, build a schedule and assign resources
- Track and manage tasks, resources and budgets
- Analyze workloads to share resources across multiple projects
- Apply best practice principles to plan, manage, maintain and direct projects
