Tickets on Sale Now for New Entertaining Holiday Production

Get ready for a delightful holiday mystery as “A Sherlock Carol” takes the stage at County College of Morris (CCM), presented by the Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts, and Music Technologies. This entertaining production combines the enchanting stories of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “Sherlock Holmes” in a wildly fun mashup that is sure to indulge audiences with humor, heart and holiday spirit. Performances will run Thursday through Saturday, December 11-13, at 7:30 p.m. each evening in Dragonetti Auditorium.

With the great nemesis of Sherlock Holmes, Professor James Moriarty, now dead, an adult Tiny Tim calls upon Holmes to probe the mysterious passing of the infamous Ebenezer Scrooge. As Holmes steps into this unexpected holiday mystery, two literary legends collide, bringing the game afoot to CCM.

“What a delight to get to work on a show like this!” said Director Michele Danna, of the Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts and Music Technologies. “Without exaggeration, Sherlock Holmes and Ebenezer Scrooge are two of the most widely recreated figures in all literature. We’re familiar with the stories and the characters from their tales, but weaving them into the same world creates a whole new version for people to fall in love with. It’s part murder mystery, part comedy and a whole lot of holiday heart.”
