Must apply and qualify.
Your Future Is Calling…
CCM has many options to help you pay for college. Find the ones that are perfect for your situation. And even better, you may qualify for more than one type of financial aid or scholarship. We encourage you to apply to many sources that can assist with tuition, fees, and other college needs.
NJ Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG)
If your household has an adjusted gross income that is $100,000 or less, check out the eligibility summary on our financial aid page.
All students looking to qualify for financial aid or scholarships must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form.
Federal Student Aid
There are three different types of Federal Student aid.
1. Grants (PELL, SEOG, etc.)
These types of financial aid does not have to be repaid (unless, for example, you withdraw from school and owe a refund)
2. Work-study (FWS)
Student work program through which you earn money while in school. Also view below in addition to contacting the Office of Career-Services for job availability (on or off-campus).
3. Federal Direct Stafford Loans (subsidized, unsubsidized, Parent PLUS)
Borrowed money for college or career school which requires repayment with interest, six month after separation from the college or if registered for less than 6 credits, whichever comes first.
Scholarships
CCM provides a variety of scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are provided based on full-time or part-time enrollment at CCM. Scholarships awarded to students may be used to assist with expenses not covered by other Federal and State grant or scholarships. Visit our listing of CCM Foundation Scholarships.
