PayScale Ranks CCM First in NJ for Associate Degree Holders who Earn the Highest Salaries
County College of Morris (CCM) continues to rank number one in New Jersey according to PayScale’s College Salary Report for Best Community Colleges in New Jersey by Salary Potential.
The report notes that CCM alumni by mid-career, who have more than 10 years of work experience, earn an average of $85,800, and $56,400 is the median salary for those with up to five years of experience. The PayScale report looked only at those who earn an associate degree and no higher degree.
The rankings come from the alumni salary data of 3.1 million respondents, representing more than 2,400 colleges and universities across the U.S. CCM has placed first in the state based on the earnings of its graduates in each of PayScale’s reports since 2017.
Along with earning top salaries, CCM alumni speak highly of their experience, with 99 percent traditionally rating the college good to excellent as reported by the Office of Career Services & Student Employment. Comments from alumni during its annual Graduate Survey completed last year included:
“I will forever be grateful to CCM because I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.”
“Great first step of my journey toward biochemistry, medical school and beyond.”
“As a full-time worker, I was able to find all the classes that I needed, offered in the evenings. Very important for the ‘adult’ learner.”
