Summer NJ State Tuition Aid Grant Now Available!
Eligibility – To be eligible for Summer TAG this year a student must:
1. have received a TAG award in the Fall 2022 and/or the Spring 2023 term
2. be enrolled in six or more credit hours in the summer 2023 term;
3. be enrolled in courses that are in the same undergraduate program at the same institution in which the student was enrolled during the fall or spring semester of academic year 2022-2023; and
4. be enrolled in courses that may be credited towards the student’s graduation or academic major requirements. And not repeated courses for EOF students.
Attention: Summer TAG amount is prorated based on the full-time TAG award the student received in the preceding semester(s).
NJ State Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG)
New Jersey resident students enrolled in any one of the State’s 18 county colleges may be eligible for tuition-free college. Students (without a prior college degree) who are enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester in an eligible program and who have a household, filed IRS income tax return adjusted gross income (AGI) of $0 -$65,000 (Tier 1) or $65,001 – $80,000 (Tier 2) or $80,001-$100,00 (Tier 3) will be considered for this state grant based on their filed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or NJ Alternative Application.
Household AGI Income range potential CCOG eligibility –Â
- AGI $0 – $65,000 may receive the maximum CCOG awarded orÂ
- AGI $65,001 – $80,000 may receive up to 50% of the maximum CCOG awarded orÂ
- AGI $80,001 – $100,000 may receive up to one third of the maximum CCOG awarded only, in accordance with NJ State Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) terms and conditions.

CCM Financial Aid Terms & Conditions
Awarding – General awarding is based on an anticipated full-time enrollment at a pending status and if less, awards may be reduced after the registration period each term and prior to disbursement. Awarded amounts may vary continually as student finalize their schedule and after an initial award notification during the registration period, due to changes in the number of credits registered until the start of the term or changes in late-start term credits. It is recommended that students notify the Financial Aid Office of changes in their credit load, especially if registered for less than 12 credits each term.
