For the sixth consecutive year, County College of Morris (CCM) President Anthony J. Iacono has been named an influencer in higher education by ROI-NJ, a leading source for New Jersey business news. He is the only community college president on ROI-NJ’s Influencers: Power List 2025 – Higher Education.
“Being featured amongst the many distinguished leaders featured by ROI-NJ in higher education across New Jersey is an honor. The contributions they make to our communities and state are a testament to their dedication to student success,” said Iacono. “Changing lives and strengthening communities is our focus and mission at CCM and we are grateful for the many leaders, elected officials and partners who increase our reach and impact.”
ROI-NJ highlighted two grants totaling $535,000 that were recently awarded to the college to support students in the advanced manufacturing programs. The funding, provided by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, has enhanced CCM’s training efforts in this field and has provided apprenticeships plus job placements.
“We are grateful to give these opportunities to our students studying advanced manufacturing,” said Iacono. “CCM is committed to serving as a pipeline to help strengthen the local workforce and boost economic mobility in Morris County.”
Since 2020, Iacono has been recognized by ROI-NJ and named to multiple higher education influencer lists, including 2 Year Presidents (2024), Community College Presidents (2023), Top 25 Most Influential Presidents (2022), Community Colleges (2021) and the list of Influencers: Manufacturing (2022).
CCM offers dozens of career pathways, including over 50 associate degree programs, and an extensive selection of industry-valued certifications. The college’s Center for Workforce Development provides a highly educated and skilled workforce for regional employment and offers customized training for individuals and local businesses.
