Philippe Clesca ‘18
Computer Science

Raised in West Orange, NJ, Philippe Clesca showed an early proficiency in technology, beginning his own online project at 16, connecting gamers from around the world in one place to interact, share and compete with one another. “I fell in love with the challenge as well as the concept of computer science,” says Philippe. “The challenge is what hooked me, because rather than running from adversity, I run into it head on and try to overcome it.” When it came time to attend college, Philippe chose CCM initially for financial reasons but was soon impressed with the college’s faculty and academic offerings – the professors inspired him. He is the recipient of the Glenbrook Technologies Scholarship, which supports students in engineering and technology, and is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science. As part of his scholarship, Philippe will begin working as an intern at Glenbrook Technologies Inc. in Randolph, NJ this March. After graduating from CCM in 2018, he plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science at a four-year institution.
