Six Outstanding Community Members Also to be Recognized
Unable to attend this year’s Kentucky Derby? You can still enjoy the finery and fun at this year’s County College of Morris (CCM) Foundation Derby Dazegala.
The gala, featuring a derby theme, takes place Thursday, May 4, at the Brooklake Country Club, 139 Brooklake Road, Florham Park. The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, and then dessert and dancing. Other fun activities include bourbon and bacon tasting, a cigar bar, special photo opportunities, and more. All proceeds from this fundraising event support student scholarships and educational programs.
Dress is business casual and derby attire is welcome. Derby items, such as hats, bow ties and pocket squares, will be available for purchase or for you to design at a special Mad Hatter Hut. All proceeds from this event support student scholarships and educational programs.
To be honored at the gala this year are:
Greg Volz ’94, Vice President of Engineering at U.S., Emerson Industrial Automation, as Alumnus of the Year.
John W. Kennedy, CEO of the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, who will be presented with an Organizational Leadership Award.
Carolyn Lake, Executive Director of the Interfaith Food Pantry Network, and Pastor Sidney Williams and Teresa Williams, who will receive Community Ambassador Awards.
Meghan Hunscher, President and CEO of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce, who will be presented with the Dr. Edward J. Yaw Leadership Award.
