After obtaining her BS in Public Health from Rutgers University in 2011, unsure of her future path, Professor Agnihotri, decided to pursue a nursing degree at County College of Morris. She later went on to obtain her BSN from Ramapo College and most recently receiving her MSN in Nursing Education from William Paterson University. As a CCM grad, Professor Agnihotri started her nursing career as a cardiac nurse at Chilton Medical Center in 2014 and after 2 years transferred to Morristown Medical Center. At Morristown Medical Center, Professor Agnihotri worked as the unit nurse educator for one of the facility’s telemetry units for about 1.5 years. Following this, Professor Agnihotri worked beside on the medical telemetry unit the end of 2019 when the whole unit moved to the newly built cardiac wing, where she currently works per diem taking care of cardiac patients including those requiring non-invasive heart valve surgery. Professor Agnihotri also experienced the Covid-19 pandemic firsthand, taking care of Covid positive patients from the start of the pandemic through the following months.
During the pandemic, Professor Agnihotri not only graduated with her MSN, but also began her teaching journey. In Fall 2020, she worked as an adjunct instructor at William Paterson for their UDC I course. By Spring 2021, Professor Agnihotri started at CCM as an adjunct for Nursing 2 and full time for Nursing 1 in Fall 2021.
