Parker Shannon has a combined 30+ years of experience in the financial services industry, as an entrepreneur, and in the field of education. He spent the first 20+ years working on Wall Street in mortgage-backed securities, corporate bond trading, and institutional equity sales, witnessing the evolution of globalization along with every bull market and financial crisis since 1986. In 2014, he became an entrepreneur after seeing an opportunity to disrupt the golf industry, starting his own indoor golf center. Parker has since advised entrepreneurs in EdTech and artistic design on scaling distribution using both traditional sales teams and direct-to-consumer models. Parker joined CCM in 2022 as a business adjunct, and is now the instructor for Finance & Entrepreneurship, bringing his experiences to the classroom with a practical real-world approach to investing, business strategy, and entrepreneurship.
