Professor Samour has about 35 years of nursing experience in various specialties including Medical-Surgical Acute Care, Critical Care, Sub-Acute care and Home Health Care. He has taught various nursing courses in associate degree, diploma, and baccalaureate nursing programs. Professor Samour is a member of the NLN and is a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE). He participated in a NCLEX-RN item development panel with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). He coordinated a NCLEX-review for senior nursing students in an associate degree program for several years prior to joining CCM. Professor Samour teaches Adult Nursing I and he keeps his clinical skills current by working as a per-diem for a local home infusion nursing company. In his spare time, professor Samour enjoys dining out, kayaking, and walking.
