How to Register for Workforce Development Non-Credit Courses
Our registration system is called ‘Elevate.’ There are two methods for registering for courses with Elevate:
- Register for one course at a time
- Register for multiple courses at once
Register for one course at a time:
From our website, each course description will have a unique registration link at the end. When you click on the link, it will take you to Elevate where that class will be automatically added to your shopping cart. Register and pay for that class by following the prompts.
Register for multiple courses at once:
Rather than clicking on the individual registration button for a course, instead go to the course web catalog. Here you can search and select multiple courses from a list and add them all to your shopping cart. Register and pay for all by following the prompts.
Be sure to write down your username and password for future use!
- Visit our office in room 125 of the Student Community Center at the County College of Morris between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (park in Lot 6–get a Visitor’s Pass from the Public Safety Office located in Lot 10).
- Payment is due in full upon registration. Pay in our office with a credit card or debit card. For payment with cash or check, students will be directed to the Bursar’s office to complete the payment.
- Cut out the registration form from the paper schedule mailed to residents, OR print registration form.
- Fill out the information requested on the form.
- Enclose check or Money Order payable to ‘County College of Morris’ for the total fee. Do not mail cash.
- You will not receive a confirmation if you register by mail.

How do I request a certificate of completion?
Please fill out the certificate request form at https://www.ccm.edu/2017/09/06/continuing-education-certificate-request-form/
Allow approximately 3-4 weeks to receive your certificate. If you need it sooner, please email wfd@ccm.edu with your request.
Non-credit transcripts are available by request from Records and Registration at registrar@ccm.edu
How do I update my address, email, phone, and other personal information?
To make sure that CCM offices will contact you at the correct address and phone number, make sure that your information is up-to-date. To make changes, fill out the form at:
Also update your information in your Elevate account by logging in with your username and password and editing any outdated information. Note that it is NOT possible to change your username once you set it up. If you need assistance, contact us at 973-328-5187 or wfd@ccm.edu.
What is the withdrawal and refund policy?
Students will receive a full refund if a request to withdraw is received in writing three (3) business days prior to the first class. Email or U.S. Mail your request to: Center for Workforce Development at wfd@ccm.edu County College of Morris, 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph, New Jersey 07869. Thereafter, no refunds will be made for cancellations. Please contact Workforce Development at wfd@ccm.edu with questions or concerns. Refunds are not issued for purchases made by students related to their courses. Refunds are issued to the student registered for the course, not the organization/sponsor paying for the course. Refunds may take 4-6 weeks to be processed and mailed. It is not possible to transfer course costs from one semester to another.

I am unemployed. Can I get funding for Workforce Development courses?
If you are unemployed, underemployed or dislocated, you may be eligible for grant funded educational vouchers up to $5,000 covering training, materials and exam certification fees. Here’s how:
- Call or email your local New Jersey One-Stop Career Center to schedule a meeting and determine eligibility. Morris/Sussex/Warren Employment and Training Services: 973-285-6880, msw-ets@co.morris.nj.us. Because they are busy, you should do this ASAP. Click here to visit their site.
- If you are accepted by the OneStop and given a training grant, register for whichever of these training programs interests you.
- After you’ve done this, contact our office at 973-328-5187 to schedule a meeting with a dedicated Workforce Development staff member.

What apprenticeship opportunities does the Center for Workforce Development offer?
We offer an apprenticeship program in the high-demand field of advanced manufacturing. As a CCM CareerAdvance apprentice, you will gain skills in a condensed time frame in order to obtain a job in advanced manufacturing. You also will have the opportunity to gain college credit during your participation if you would like to continue and pursue a certificate or college degree.
Apprenticeships are available to those with little to no knowledge of advanced manufacturing, along with those with a basic knowledge of the field. Interested participants can see an overview of the program at: https://www.ccm.edu/apprenticeships-careeradvanceusa/
Students enrolled in our Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship program can earn while they learn during a 7-week training program that prepares them to work in both hospital and retail pharmacy settings. Information is at: https://www.ccm.edu/workforce/pharmacy-tech/
For qualified candidates, funding is available for the Registered Apprenticeship Pharmacy Technician Program. Apprenticeship candidates must commit to a one-year agreement with a partner employer. CCM partners closely with local Morris County employers to secure job placement for apprentices in varying healthcare settings.
