In Recognition of CCM’s Mission
The Urban League of Morris County recently presented the County College of Morris with its Community Service Award for the college’s ongoing commitment to assisting individuals with securing economic independence.

“We’re deeply honored to receive this award in recognition of CCM’s mission of delivering dynamic, challenging, high-quality and accessible academic programs and services to support people in their quest for professional and personal development,” said Dr. Edward J. Yaw, CCM president.

The award was presented to Dr. Yaw at the Urban League’s 58th Annual Equal Opportunity Dinner at the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph on September 23.

The Urban League of Morris County is one of 110 affiliates of the National Urban League committed to opening doors to career paths and employment for minorities and other individuals seeking to improve their quality of life.
