The CCM Art Gallery announces its 50th Anniversary exhibition entitled Into the Future. The show consists of two groups of works. One contains visual and audio documents found in the CCM archives, a mixture of historical records, photographs, announcements and videos, some of which are appropriated and some that are presented in their original form. The second group consists of recent work by six students who were commissioned by the college specifically for the anniversary show. The students use fashion and graphic design, painting, drawing, video and poetry to present their version of the future of CCM. The combination of archival material and futuristic renderings celebrates the tradition of the college and its people and envisions CCM as a college of the future.
