Be Entertained at the Farce-Meets-Murder Mystery

The Department of Music, Performing Arts & Music Technologies at CCM presents “Clue” – a hilarious, slapstick murder mystery, this Fall Semester. Based on the iconic 1985 movie by Jonathan Lynn, which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, the tale begins at a remote mansion. Six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party and murder and blackmail are on the menu. When the host turns up dead, all become suspects.

Written by Sandy Rustin, “this farce-comedy-mystery asks you to remember the world with child-like wonder, featuring physical comedy and silly approaches to the slightly upside-down, yet semi-historical world it brings you into,” says CCM Professor Michael Donahue, Department of Music, Performing Arts and Music Technologies.

Led by Wadsworth, the butler, each of the six characters – Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard, race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE and with WHAT!

Donahue, who is directing the production, admits, “Our students here at CCM have gone above and beyond once again…their commitment to their craft is inspiring and electrifying. Get ready to laugh and make a guess of who did it!”
