VIRTUAL or IN-PERSON APPOINTMENT REQUEST:

HOW TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:

 

Email us your preference of in-person or virtual attendance to finaid@ccm.edu with subject line: “FA Workshop Appointment Request” and time you wish to meet.  Please include your CCM student ID and phone number.

On receipt of your request, a representative from our office will contact you, confirming your appointment with a zoom invitation, if you requested remote assistance.

Attention: Prior to requesting an appointment, it is recommended that you review –

 

Be Prepared – Information needed for participation:

  1. For online access (student and one parent) Create a Federal Student Aid – FSA ID https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch
  2. Savings/checking and investments current balance (student/parents).
  3. Filed 2021 IRS Federal income tax return and W2’s from all employees.
  4. Foreign income converted in US dollars (if applicable).
  5. Annual public assistance benefits (SNAP, TANF, SSB, etc.) amount if received or
  6. IN-KIND Support received in monetary $$$ value including cash received.
  7. Child support annual benefits statement or known amount.
  8. Business net worth value (if it were to be sold).
  9. Property net worth value of second home.

Other:

  1. Review the FAFSA worksheet in preparation to filing online, it will save a lot of time.  2023-24 FAFSA Worksheet (English)*   2023-24 FAFSA Worksheet (Español)*
  2. Student log in to www.fafsa.gov , begin the FAFSA by completing at the least the demographical information, saving it prior to attending the workshop.
  3. NJ Alternative Financial Aid Applicants (DACA and undocumented students only) must create a student account https://njfams.hesaa.org
