Dr. Feichtl finished her associate degree in nursing at County College of Morris in 2007. From there, she started at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey where she worked for over 14 years. She started as an RN on a women’s health/oncology unit where she worked for 4 years. For the next 10 years, she continued at Saint Barnabas as an RN Float on all units including oncology, renal, kidney transplant, medical-surgical, burn, orthopedics, bariatric, stroke, telemetry, hospice, and pulmonary. She worked with new nurses as a preceptor for over 10 years at Barnabas.

After finishing her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Walden University, she began working as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Atlantic Health in 2020 at an outpatient family urgent care. There, she sees patients of all ages and diagnoses, assesses, orders and interprets pertinent diagnostic tests and labs, as well as prescribes varieties of medications. She is skilled in suturing, stapling, and wound care. Dr. Feichtl finished her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with Healthcare Systems Leadership specialty in March 2023 from Chamberlain University and continues to work with Atlantic Health. Her passion is teaching and she is excited to teach here at CCM where she herself started. A favorite quote of hers is, “There is no greater joy, nor reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life” by Mary Rose McGeady. She is happily married with two young children, a daughter and son. She and her family reside in Sussex County, New Jersey.
