County College of Morris (CCM) learned today, September 21, 2020, that one of its students
received a positive test result for COVID-19. The student was last on campus Tuesday,
September 15, 2020 and received confirmation of the test result today. CCM has activated its
COVID-19 response plan which calls for partnering with local public health departments who
will handle contact tracing. The college has confirmed, as per protocol, this classroom was
disinfected immediately after use, as are all facilities. It was further confirmed that all students
in the classroom maintained social distancing practices and were wearing proper face
coverings. The college and public health departments are notifying employees and students.
