Math, English & Technology Literacy Competency
Placement Information
CCM uses multiple methods to evaluate Math and English college readiness.
These methods include completion of CCM’s Accuplacer Placement Test, submission of Standardized Test Scores (SAT, ACT) and review of the High School Transcript (for recent graduates).
Choose the placement method you used to complete your admission application:
Use the following score sheets to determine your placement in the areas below. For detailed information on specific courses recommended or required, consult the curriculum checksheet from your program page.
If you did not take the Technology Literacy Competency test, you may schedule an in-appointment with the CCM Testing Center.
- Advanced Algebra and Functions (College Level Math)
If your standardized test meets the minimum required scores and you are interested in or required to take an upper-level Math class (higher than College Algebra, MAT 110), you must schedule an appointment with CCM Testing Center to take the Advanced Algebra Placement Test (AAPT).
If you did not take the Technology Literacy Competency test, you may schedule an appointment with the CCM Testing Center.

If you are not required to take any developmental math courses and are interested in or required to take an upper-level Math class (higher than College Algebra, MAT 110), you must schedule an appointment with CCM Testing Center. to take the Advanced Algebra Placement Test (AAPT).
Curriculum Checksheets
Curriculum Checksheets list all of the courses you are required to complete in order to obtain a degree or a certificate.
The checksheets provide a suggested semester-sequence of courses and include information about elective course choices which may be required as part of a degree program. Curriculum Check sheets are revised each year as course requirements are updated.
