Welcome to the Science Center!
The Tutoring Center, located on the upper level of the library, provides an array of free academic services in a variety of subject areas. Our services include in-person one-on-one or group tutoring, academic workshops, science focus sessions, as well as a 24/7 online tutoring service via Brainfuse for CCM students. Students can also use the Center for self-study or access computers to do their work. Our goal is to help YOU achieve academic success!
In-person sessions will not be recorded. Remote Zoom sessions will be recorded for those unable to attend; recordings will be posted within 48 hours to the Tutoring Center Blackboard Shell under the Science Resources.
Biology and Chemistry Workshop Series: Special Topics in Biology and Chemistry
Throughout the semester the Biology and Chemistry faculty will be holding seven workshops. Students registered in “courses for this workshop” are welcome to attend these sessions.
To attend these sessions, students will need to schedule an appointment on the TutorTrac scheduling system; please use your CCM student credentials to sign in. Upon signing in, click the “Click here to schedule an appointment /session” link on the right-hand side of the screen. Next, select the course you are registered for and the “Science Center” by clicking “Choose a subject” and “Choose a service/reason” respectively. After choosing “Science Center”, select which Tutoring Center: Science resource to search for and click “OK”. After that click “Search”. Then select the appropriate date and time for the session you would like to attend. Appointments can be up to 6 days in advance. Please make your appointment no later than 24 hours before the day of session.
In addition, students are welcome to attend faculty and peer one-on-one tutoring appointments, open lab, and self-study. Please see the Blackboard Tutoring Center: Math, Writing, & Science Center shell for additional information.
In-person sessions will take place during the day/time specified below on campus.
